Ephemerality
Ephemerality is the concept of impermanence. In 2018 when I made these artworks I was intrigued with the challenge of globalisation and how humans have been taking over more and more natural landscapes and animal habitats. So when my year 12 art class prompt was about ephemerality I made these three animal drawings about animals in the moment, in their nature, in their world. I wanted to capture their frozen stares and really frame them with their habitats.
This is the first photo I took of them all completed.
And these are the completed drawings up for display in Nudgee College Dimensions art festival 2018.
